Wow. So I've been swamped with work and just haven't wanted to go online after the (often extended) workday. Things may be calming down, so I'm hoping to get back on the blogging horse for real this weekend.

And here I was adding a flash of your neighbor's ass to my regular morning routine. :)
This blog chronicles my family's journey through life, including infertility/loss, preterm labor, and the birth and progress of our daughter Lexie, born 10 weeks premature.
The blog title, "Two Shorten the Road," is an old Irish proverb that basically means a trip is shorter when you have someone to tell stories to. For me, it's very true. Our adventures -- or misadventures -- along the way become woven into the fabric of who we are.
I hope you enjoy reading.

I wouldn't have thought this necessary, but a Washington Post article has made me reconsider. Don't steal my stuff, ok? And so:

I've been ridiculously busy as well. It seems like work has suddenly picked up for everyone.
we're cycle sisters!
hope this month holds good things for both of us (fingers and toes crossed)
Doesn't it suck when work gets in the way of living? Hopefully things will start to calm down a bit now. :-)
