Becoming One With the Splinter

I think the splinter isn't coming out. I think it's just going to stay in there and maybe dissolve. The swelling has gone down a lot but the wound closed up and there's no sign of movement underneath. I really don't feel like making a doctor's appointment for this. I have an OB appointment Thursday and maybe I'll ask him if I need to worry about it.
